In hindsight I should have bought this gadget in 1990 and not 2010, but then that's me! Because it is an 'old' piece of technology and I am too old and bemused to use new upmarket and very expensive notebooks it does what I want it to do extremely well. There was no book of destructions but the item was easily mastered and, to be very honest, I use it on a daily basis and it has got me out of trouble on more that one occasion. You see as we get older we develope what is medically known as a 'Teflon Memory', nothing sticks! and to have a written record of what you need to do and where to do it is an asset to say the least. Again technology meant that there was no USB connection to the PC but Heyy, I can live without it. I did try to purchase an adaptor but as with the best laid plans of mice and men I was unsuccessful. Would I miss it if I lost it? A resounding YES. Would I buy another one if I lost it? Again a resounding YES especially as I was lucky enough to pay very little for it in the first place. It would appear that there is a corner in the marketplace that needs filling. Get this sort of PDA back on the racks for the old, infirm and downright cantancerous technophobe. I love it and hope to have it in my arsenal for a long, long time.Read full review
I really liked Palm products, this one uses AA batteries, lasts for weeks and is simple to use. Its even interesting due to its transparent case. A great retro device but the mono screen is not great and it doesn't do much. The TX is better
