The smartest dumbphone at the best value for your money. Easy to text, just don't forget to regularly clear your messages as phone will gradually get slower as it reaches the preset memory limit by the phone. Overall, does what is designed to do. Make you look cool like you have a smartphone, but doesn't require data, and is easy to text, take and send pics and vids, etc. Keys are bigger than most dumbphones, so you won't complain about hitting incorrect buttons. Takes average quality photos, and has a user-interface that even granny can figure out.
I have owned three of these phones over the past 3 years. I have always been able to acquire them for roughly 20-30 dollars off of Ebay. They are great phones, but as an avid texter, there's a few issues that really make it a pain. There is about 80 megabytes of free storage on this phone, yet that is not what you have for your texting disposal. I'm not sure what the available space is, because when it often says that my messages are full, the available space in my phone remains the same... The other major issue is the " message successfully sent" notification that pops up about 4-5 seconds after you send a text message. It interrupts whatever you're doing, like sending or reading other text messages. There is NO way to cancel this feature. I have looked on forums and plenty of other people have this issue. This phone is great if you can find it for under 30 dollars, but if you're big on texting, it may cause you some frustration. It's cheap for a blackberry-like phone, which i would assuem they would make it more texter friendly since it DOES have a full keyboard. I thought this phone needed a detailed review other than the short positive ones that are already listed.Read full review
I've been using this Model for 10 years, and I LOVE it, nothing but a screen and keys, no smart phone BS.
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
I bought this phone 3 times only because I broke it and my puppy literally chewed one beyond repair. I love the look and ease of the Pantech Link without it being a smart phone. I dont need all the extras, just for sending texts and making calls. The picture quality isnt great. The image is very small. For the price of this phone, I think it is a great purchase.
I love this phone for all that it is worth. It is a low cost non-smartphone, but it is the closest you can get to to a smartphone. The buttons are not so bad once you get used to them. I moved from a touchscreen smartphone. It has a slot for your SD card that will hold a lot of memory. The only downside is the limitation on SMS storage. I am getting another one for my daughter's birthday. She loves it too!
