Perfect for adding a parallel printer port to systems where the motherboard has a 25-pin header but no DB-25 port. This worked great on my 2015 vintage Asus Z170M-Plus motherboard. The motherboard header needs to be 25-pins (i.e. 26-pin with pin 26 removed) as the cable has pin-26 filled in to act as a key. Most should be like this but good to check the manual beforehand. Can be fixed by snipping off the offending pin with a pair of side cutters. The cable seems well enough made for the job. The ribbon cable is generous allowing the bracket to be put anywhere in most cases I would imagine.
