Somewhat surprised, very old design, weak strobe beam. I opened up the case and panted the case inside around the bulb with Tipex and put a piece of white foam plastic behind the bulb. This improved the beam to acceptable level. But still, you can get a better strobe, for about the same price. This product is over priced.

As others have said, it feels like it's made from cheap plastic, but it is cheap to buy and it works a treat. I was able to set up my MGB timing very quickly. I would highly recommend. Great for occasional us, but if you were using one all of the time, as a mechanic, you would probably invest more money and buy one higher up in their range.

I cannot believe this is as good as it is for a low price, the light is very bright and stable ,easy to see even in bright sunlight , not so long ago you would have paid 3-4 times the price for a strobe as good as this.most impressed I would recommend this to anyone who needs a timing light on a budget
