Still a good performer even though it is getting on in years. It runs on socket 775 motherboards which can cost under ten pounds. Not a modern gaming processor of course, but it can certainly still run office programs, internet browsers etc. And all for a couple of pounds.......

I have an old Dell Inspiron 530 that shipped with an Intel Pentium dual core processor, but this only supported 32-bit programs/ OS's and runs at 2Ghz. So when I did some research into other possible processors, this or another processor (which was identical, except a slightly more recent model and running at 3.3Ghz) seemed to be the way to go and this was over £10 cheaper. The core was well packaged and it came very quickly. I feel this product is better being used when upgrading an old computer, unless you want to build a computer cheaply just for the experience but it has increased the speed and overall performance on my computer and allowed me to upgrade to a 64 bit version of Windows 7. Well worth it for the money.

the processor arrived well ahead of schedule, clean, well packed and worked straight off the bat. it was also only 1 third of the cost of those I had been bidding on. what more can you ask?

Installed this into an old Packard Bell Celeron and it has become a usable PC again. Unbelievable difference for just a few quid!

A faster processor. It made my PC faster with little money. It seems it causes more heat and the fan works harder at times to keep it cool.
