I bought this as I am installing my own GCH system and decided to go copper instead of plastic. I have only made a couple of joints so far and this torch is easy to use and has worked well. Compared to other more expensive torches available, I would say this one is value for money. Not being an experienced plummer, I cannot compare it to other gas blow torches.

Not impressed with the plastic clips that attach into the canister. They didn’t align easily the first time I tried to attach it. Now the plastic clip is a little buckled. Would buy a better quality one next time.

I Bought this product to solder broken bandsaw blades back together. The blades are not cheap and can be easily repaired with silver bronze solder and a good blowtorch. I got this torch because it uses multi purpose gass canisters, the same type my camping grill - heater - cooker and garden weed blowtorch uses . It is easy to fit - lights first time and the flame easy to control. All round a good neat product.

Pros. - Price is excellent. The 4 supplied butane cans are unexpectedly large in size, nice! Nozzle and ignition is very easy to use. Flame tip (the light blue part) is very nice length compaired to my previous torch and has a stable jet. Size of burner unit is a very compact design which is also handy. Cons. (all self fixable) - Has a decent centre of gravity not easy to knock over but I suggest taping gas bottle's base to a tile or 6in square base for extra stability on the ground. On the burner unit, underneath, the 3 clear plastic expanding ring hooks that slip into the tube on the top of the gas bottle to add rigidity to the connection? (not a seal!) These sometimes jam up and prevent the gas bottle connection. If one of these tiny plastic bars breaks just unclip the other 2 and replace the three with two tight rubber bands which do a better job anyway.Read full review

I bought this product to burn away a plague of weeds on my patio which were resistant to any weedkiller. It did the job admirably! The product comes nicely boxed, is of good, solid construction and very easy to use. Full instructions on use are also included and I would recommend anyone not familiar with using a gas torch to read these first.
