For the price these are brilliant. The small size makes them easy to pack and transport and they are high enough for most small venues. I'm using them for a pair of Laney Audiohub 4x4 powered columns, not too heavy. I would be cautious about using them for something weighty because the base is quite small so not so stable.

These stands are just right for the intended job - tried them last weekend (they were supporting QSC KW153 pa speakers throughout the gig) & all was good; very sturdy, easy to carry & set up, thanks, Paul :-)

Good quality well constructed stands for very little money. I actually bought these to modify and use domestically as I wanted tripod stands to cope with my uneven flagstone floor. These do the job perfectly and I have complete confidence putting £2k worth of speakers on them 🙂

I didnt need a full PA speaker stand when I bought this "Short Adjustable" stand for my single speaker. You see, I have a Laney AH4x4 busking/small event battery/mains PA device for acoustic guitar/vocals. This stand is more than adequate to hold it nicely at ear level, and I'd think strong enough to take about 3 of the Laney's piled on top of each other, (don't try this at home). It looks good, feels good, and by golly, it does y' good, (as they used to say. Wholeheartedly recommended. Update: This stand now hold a 12" active PA speaker, (huge). No problem at all!
