Looks great. High expectations immediately dashed by the transferance of motor noise through the stylus to the speakers as soon as the needle hits a record. The motor has inadequate insulation from the MDF board the deck sits on and as a consequence makes anything but loud music unlistenable. I have done my best to isolate it but if I keep the turntable I will have to physically detach the motor and mount it seperately so there is no resonance transferred. Apparently this is a common issue with the cheaper Project turntables so much so that there is a fix kit sold by Henley but unfortunately not for this model. Check the forums for lots of annoyed owners. This isn't a grounding issue. It's motor noise. Tap the surface near the motor and listen to your taps come through your speakers. I rate this good value because it was a refurb and half price. Otherwise not a chance.Read full review
