I bought this as I live off grid on a boat and wanted a battery powered machine to use as both a digital radio and to play music from an iPod. This is my main music player. Overall I'm very happy. Downsides are that aa batteries don't last very long - I had intended to buy the separate battery but it turns out that it has to be charged in the radio which is no good for my circumstances. I found the sound quality good for both voice and music. Volume is good when listening to the radio but is much quieter when using aux input for the iPod. When I turned the volume up to the maximum with aux input, the machine freaked out and shut down - you just can't play it too loud! I like the look and build quality (personal taste I suppose) and found it very easy to tune and set channels contrary to what I had read.Read full review

This is my third Pure one digital radio. One in the Kitchen, one in the bedroom and one that goes around the Garden and allotment with me. They are very easy to use, light weight and a really nice design. Very good value for the money (if you shop around). The Pure pack rechargeable battery cell that you can buy separately is also a very good idea and recommended for anyone who is always on the go! Highly recommended.

This is an excellent DAB/FM radio, good reception, good sound and easy to use. If you have the battery pack, the battery life is very good; I haven't tried it on standard batteries. For me, the only irritation is a fairly loud click when it is turned on. It's important to distinguish between this radio and the Pure One Classic, which has the ability to pause and rewind live radio.

I needed a bathroom radio. We live in a very poor reception area but previous DAB radio worked well so thought I would do same again and decided on the Mini due to its size and the big plus was the rechargeable battery, although this is pricey. I am very pleased with it as it is compact but with surprisingly good reception, with no interference. In fact, you hardly need the aerial. The only downside is the tinny speaker but what can you expect with such a small radio?
the one I bought was the Pure One Flow, as I needed a battery powered radio for the bathroom. its brilliant - although a bit pricey once you add on the battery cost, but it does keep its charge for about a week and recharges overnight.
