Great, strong and a very large ovenproof dish. Great value for money and just the right size for the bottom oven. Inbuilt glass handles made it easy when removing from the hot oven that roasted (practically steamed) a large joint of beef, leaving it extremely tender. 5***** review from me for quality, size, value for money. Definitely will be looking at other Pyrex products in the range from this seller.

I Love this Pyrex casserole dish with lid.! Big enough for a large roasting joint, it roasts to perfection keeping all the cooking juices in the pan (not all over your oven as well!) and allows browning of the joint as it roasts! I havent tried with a chicken yet, but would assume that a standard 3.5 - 5lb (1.5 - 2.5kg bird would be brilliant as it would keep the bird moist!
