As a (very) senior student of 73 and having decided to learn the piano, I found this book pretty good. I only gave it four stars as I think there is not enough of the slower melodic ballads that were written by Lennon and McCartney, also, some of the songs are not complete. E.g. with Eleanor Rigby, the part at the end that goes "Ahh look at all the lonely people" is not there, so I had to work this part out for myself. I have noticed this, with many of the books in this series.

Two issues...issue one the book is completely put together incorrectly ,page orders inconsistent jumping from page 10 to page 40 randomly...papers missed out. Some songs in content but not even printed in book. Issue two... while it does say 'easy' which is correct many songs in wrong key and just sound incorrect no matter how well played

My 11year old son has not been playing long and hated practising but was fed up of the material he was having to play, so we bought this to keep his interest. There are some more difficult pieces but the ability level needed for some of them means that there are a few songs he can work on which he is delighted about!
