I got this Radio mainly as its one of the few that give two turning buttons on the top of the unit and when your buying for someone that used to the old style FM analog radios this works great as the layout and the Buttons are really well placed and give a simple turning and operation. The unit is very pleasing to the eye with some very classy build and wood planes to the side and a nice cary handily. I didn't know what I got this as was mainly going to be used via its power supply but this is a Eco model also that means it runs for hours on a simple off the Shelf Battery pack and even takes Rechargeable and changes them too. Unlike some that need a Special Battery . The display is really nice backlight and works so simple finds last channel tuned when switched off and everyone feels nice to the touch. I have always used Pure DAB in the past but I have to say this is on the of Best Roberts DAB radios I have used and the Sound is Warm Crisp and bright something that used to only be Pure models. One of the Best models about the price is about £20 more than something smiler but you will not get anything as good either.Read full review
Sound is good when it gets going, but in my peculiar reception area, this takes a few minutes of spluttering and on/off stuff. It's a bit moody. I do find it fiddly to change channels. Not as good as I would have hoped, but better than many. Worst thing about it is the feet it stands on which are very sharp and likely to damage your table top or whatever you stand it on. Needs putting on a mat or some kind of padding.

This radio is another excellent product from Roberts. The reception is excellent and the sound quality is the usual high standard that one expects from this manufacturer. I have two other radios from Roberts which are in various parts of the house. This one looks good in the bedroom and sits well on our furniture. The buttons are easy to use and it is easy to pre-set the stations that we like to use. Would recommend this to anyone.

Arrived very swiftly. Not in original box but no visible signs of use and came with power supply. Even had instructions.....in German (but U.K. Version available to download.) This is replacing 40 or 50 year old Roberts radio and doesn't feel quite as solid, but that's OK...newer lighter electronics, etc. It sits on a shelf and sounds good to me so I'm happy with it.
