Does a lot more than a Juno and is more reliable (no bad chips). Gives you that analog Roland poly sound you want. Not hard to program without the PG-200, but still, that is it's one notable downside. On the upside, it has an excellent and fun build in sequencer with the ability to transcribe the sequence up and down the keys. Overall, an awesome synth that's easy to fall in love with.

it's amazing that you can still find these (fully functional) for about $400-500. programming it without the pg-200 is pretty easy and intuitive and not nearly as daunting as it looks, although it's slightly annoying to not have dedicated knobs/sliders. great sounding synth with a lot of programming possibilities. 6 voice poly analog, 2 dco/voice, the sweet roland chorus, great synth, underrated. can do a lot more than a typical juno, and still has that juicy classic roland sound
