The cutter could be great if a little attention to design and quality were taken. As it comes it is very poor. Pump does not work or very intermittent, pipes and cables need securing better (else they snag). The bed should have deeper grooves or slots to allow the water to drain into the tray (instead of all over the floor!). The flap that is supposed to catch water ends up snagging under the blade on the return stroke. The guide could do with a marker point to indicate blade end position (otherwise you cut a tile with blind faith that the cut will end where you intend it to!). Cutting blade supplied is absolute pants! Minor things some might say but why then does Rubi not design it better in the first place?

Don't bay that saw! Cheap blade . No water box! No legs in set! You can use it just outside home , water coming off around saw. Better bay saw for more money and be happy then cheap staff which will be eat dust in yours shed.

Bought this tile cutter as having used rubi equipment before assumed it would be up to the job.. absolute rubbish - would struggle to cut a bar of chocolate let alone a porcelain tile which is why it was bought..
