As others have written, this charger works on both the NiCad and Lithium battery packs. My experience was similar to others in that it also seemed to put more life back in the NiCad batteries that had lost power over time. Very happy with this charger.

This battery fits a half dozen tools and hand vacs I own. One of my batteries suddenly died so I bought this one. They are expensive but I find I need three that are charged so that I have a backup. They quit without warning which I do not like but that's the way it is. I've charged the battery I purchased but I haven't used it yet. My satisfaction will depend on how long it works, hopefully longer than the one it replaced. Because this is a remanufactured battery, I would like to know if there is a way to get mine remanufactured if they die on me in the future. Richard Sumsion

My wife bought the Ryobi cordless blower so she didn't have to get out the 100' extension cord and drag it around. It's convenient if you only need to clean 1/2 of your patio because the batteries don't last forever on a charge. Now I have 2 chargers and 3 batteries and can do the patio and front porch without recharging. The new charger and batteries are new and just like the one that came with the blower. End of frustration.
