i have the ultimate version of this book, which in itself is brill, and decided to buy this one due to its size, it easily fits in the pocket and is a must for a back-up which can be taken with me into the field its clear ,consise and with loads of pictures to give anybody help in survival, i totally reccomend this , afterall its written by a living legend !!!! if they made a waterproof version it would be unbeatable
The books contents live up to expectations and the size is practical the only thing is when I got the book there were a was a ripped page and the corners were scuffed

fantastic book, a must have for any outdoors person full of useful tips and techniques. its very true what they publish it could save lives one day, covering everything from first aid to building shelters and finding food. not only a survival book but a very interesting read. a credit to lofty wiseman hes made a fantastic book.
