This is a relatively old format basic 'phone which works perfectly well. I only secured this deal as my wife already has one and I needed another for spares.
Sharp GX10i Review The Sharp GX10i mobile phone is the successor to the GX10, offering triband capability and improved camera functions. It comes in a distinctive anthracite colour, to distinguish it from the older GX10. The Sharp GX10i was one of the best multimedia phones when it launched, with MMS, 65,000 colour TFT display, and an integrated digital camera with 110,000 pixels, digital zoom and storage for up to 80 pictures. However it cannot compare with more modern camera phones. It suffers from having a poor quality camera and no easy way of transferring pictures from the phone to a PC. Features of the Sharp GX10i include: WAP, GPRS 16 voice polyphonic ringtones, ringtone composer High resolution colour display (120 x 160 pixels, 65,536 colours) plus external display Multimedia Messaging (MMS) Downloadable Java™ applications Enhanced animation Wallpaper Caller identification (on external display) Built-in infra-red modem Predictive text input Clock, calendar, games Size: 94 x 49 x 27 mm Weight: 107g Battery standby: up to 250 hours Battery talktime: up to 3.5 hours Vibration alert Tri bandRead full review
The battery on this phone is amazing. Nearly 4 years down the line and I still get at least 5 days standby time, far better than even brand new phones nowadays. Camera quality is also amazing for the age, and so is the screen quality. Only reason this gets a 4 star from me is because I've never managed to get the photos off it onto my PC. In fact, so much of the Phone PC transfer is locked down it's practically impossible. Other than that, it's a great phone and considering I paid £200 and still feel it was well worth the cost, definately pick one up now for the few quid it's being sold for.
Like the colour and design of phone. Is a well loaded phone and bought because they are quite a rare phone to get now and Sharp has a good reputation for quality.
This is a lovely little phone. I brought it because I needed a flip phone for my hubby as he just throws his phone into his pocket and calls people, or turns on his phone when its low on battery, But not any more!! The phone functions perfectly, it also has a good camera on it which I was able to take a picture in the half dark and it still looked good! It's easy to use, my hubby has even got to grips with it, and it has all the usual functions of a mobile, like, sending sms, mms and of course making phone calls. All in all it is a lovely product, and it has helped my hubby a great deal!
