I am excited to own this game. I watched the YOU TUBE video before purchase and I liked what I saw. I built my own PC, running windows 7 64 bit professional, I had no problems running the game, compatible with Win 7 64 bit. I started the light house level, I made a mistake of choosing this particular level, as it was a nightmare to begin with, I gave up playing it. I tried playing the Americans a day later, and thanks god it was better and easier to learn the controls etc. And I was hooked, finished it quickly, and I went back to the British game, and I finished the lighthouse, in 2 hours, it was easy when you know about the individual characters strengths and weaknesses. There is one annoying bit about the lighthouse, the canons are not easy to fire the damn things, the canon in the west was supposed to be able to hit the other canon in the east to complete the level. I kept clicking to fire, nothing..... after a long thought, I fired into the rock below the canon, KABOOM!!!!! it worked.... sometimes the controls can be temperamental, e.g. getting the tanks to fire at the enemy, pulling back and working the angle sort of helps. I love blitzkrieg, Soldiers: Heroes of World War II comes close, it was easy to complete a majority of the levels. This game is entertaining, and some of the task to complete look hard, but once you have figured a way through, they are easy to complete. Sometimes is best to tackle the hard tasks, and avoid the easy options, you will know what I mean when you play the game. The music is annoying, as it is repetitive. The graphics are brilliant. I liked the gore, tanks driving over soldiers, arms flying and cutting into pieces. Firing at soldiers with big guns, the bodies cut into pieces. It may sound like extreme horror, but its a cartoon! don't take it seriously!, the body parts are small on the screen. You can pick up the enemy's weapons and drive their captured vehicles, and cause havoc. I was hoping the Americans could disguise themselves as the enemy and approach the enemy without causing attention, nope..no chance of that, wearing the enemy's helmets only helps to keep you alive. An idea for games developers - how about a game based on a stalag, and the Allies have to escape and avoid being captured? This could be a great engine to create such a game. Overall this is a brilliant game, on the same level as "Desert Rats vs. Afrika Korps", "Commandos" and "1944 Battle of the Bulge". Its not cheap on ebay, expect to pay between £3 and £5. Its worth it for the entertainment.Read full review
