This phone in my eyes was an upgrade to my Android HTC Wildfire. I wanted an up-to-date phone with a keypad. Design; possibly the keypad is too far down, the lower keys can be a bit tricky to do with one hand, and with case is a bit slippery with cotton gloves. Features: Lacking quality, but there. I would love to see a way to turn off 3g. Simple features could have made this phone really impressive. No wifi either.. so try the Sony Ericsson ELM. Using the phone as an internet connection for the laptop is a nice feature that is there. Social features are pointless and none-existent. Google contracts can be transferred from the 3g to the phone, but not all information like address gets transferred. Lastly, it actually really good with RSS feeds, which for me, I get to listen to my 2600 podcast on the go, much better than my ipod can do! Battery: Amazing Texting: amazing, but crap dictionary, constantly adding normal English words, but ok! Camera; I'd rather it not to be there being its rubbish, but whatever, personal preference, and it works.Read full review
This unlocked Sony-Ericsson Cedar (J108i) mobile phone is one out of three that my family use. This one serves as our main means to get online through the 3 network. The other two are also on the same network and are useful for the free Skype feature. This phone was bought used and was previously on the Virgin mobile network. It's an excellent for our purpose as the inbuilt modem gets us online reliably and consistently. We bought two USB cables (also on ebay) to allow "tethering" of our laptops. The other features are standard, nothing fancy, but useful: The microSD expansion slot takes up to 16GB cards and in one of our phones adds good music player functionality. The stereo 3.5mm jack accepts any standard headphones. The menu and buttons are arranged logically and clearly - the manual has not been consulted by us. The sound and microphone are fine. The onboard camera takes ok 3 megapixel photos - nothing spectacular but sufficient. There is also a low resolution (320 x 240 pixel) video camera mode. The web browser is of course limited on such a phone as navigating through the pages is just tedious. We therefore use it mainly as a mobile broadband modem. The battery life is ok and lasts us (with Skype always on in the background) between 3-4 days. For us who do not require fancy and expensive smartphones this little candybar mobile phone just does the trick - all for less than £30 delivered.Read full review

I have changed a battery only for 2430 mAh gold one. Mobile is great value for money! It is really convenient and it has everything for social networking, planning etc. I recommend it to everybody who don`t want to waste money buying chinese mobiles!
Have one for years before this. It´s smaller then my smart phone, so it´s good for work etc.
