The item is lighter than the stock plastic and more pliable, making it easier to install, even without taking the front wheel off. The bike still needs to be on a rear-stand and supported by a jack to unload the front suspension, though. Carbon-fibre pattern is very good and resin has little marks left from the molding process (few tiny bubbles visible if looking hard). two holes for attaching the brake hoses had to be widened with a drill, but nothing major. Otherwise very easy installation and good fit. For purists, I can confirm that the mudguard has no logos / emblems / stickers and it is sold in a nice, sturdy box.
