I can't rate this as it wasn't what I wanted. Was able to trade it for the one I wanted. Did not want one that was connected to the computer. I needed an external one.

Needs a manual to accompany it. Sabent had none. Question was answered by Sabent. Whether all connections needed to be connected. And "yes" was their answer. I have Windows 10, which had a difficult time recognizing the floppy. When It eventually did (the Gigabyte motherboard), it works fine. The floppy part had a separate connection (floppy cable, which was not included) than the memory chip recesses, and of course the standard floppy power connector. The BIOS had to be changed prior to bootup to recognize the floppy, but the memory chip recesses were recognized immediately, when plugged in to the USB connection on the motherboard.
