worked okkay as a USB player - but still got a but jerky when there was fast action on screen. The one we briefly owned, the laser appeared to have a problem with home burned disks, which is a bit of an issue for a player that advertises itself as a DivX player, otherwise how to read the files? We eventually returned ours when it proved it couldn't play beyond the layer change (on a bought DVD) without sticking and jumping. We have just replaced it with a similarly priced Philips DVP3850/05 - so far it has played everything we threw at it & it was only £3 more expensive.
Love this machine..the remote is so cute. all the usual Samsung refinements..my only critic if I had to pick just one it would be the fast forward goes something like this..x2...x4...x64 ?? what ever happened to x32?? but other than that its an awesome little machine & yes I would recommend it to you all. Hey I paid £29.00 for mine, what does £29 buy you today? yep one of these :)
Excellent player; good to look at and good sound; splendid fuctions using the machine is a pleasure.
From start to finish my dealings have been 1st class look forward to be doing more deals in the future
