I have had a Samsung Galaxcy Ace Before, a slightly different model, but most of the features on this one are the same as the old phone I once used to have, the features are very easy to use, call quality is excelent on this phone, the touch screen is very responsive and does nto need much pressure to use the screen. Over all, samansung is a trusted product name, in everythign they make. I highly can recommend this make and model of mobile phone to anyone
I did not notice that phone memory was unbelievably small so my daughter could hardly purchase applications/games. We bought SD card but most of modern applications are designed not to be moved to a SD card. So I found 2 methods to over come this problem on a web mobile phone forum, spent 2 hours to configure the phone. So I now can move most of games/programs to SD card to keep phone memory free. You still need good amount of phone memory to buy applications though you have massive memory in SD. The other issue is very short battery life. I replaced it with a very good one so now the problem sorted. I spent long hours and £40 to make this phone work well. As it serves us well now, total cost of £100 (£60 phone and £40) is a good value.
Does everything I want it to but I have noticed the battery life was not as good as I hoped. When the internet is on the battery runs out within half an hour. I have bought new high capacity batteries to replace the original that came with the phone. However the problem remains although not quite as bad. Therefore I assume the phone itself is the issue.
It's a great telephone, easy to use, fast connexion, battery life is long enough even if searching on the net for long time. The only problem is that the colour is not purple plum even if the box said so.. is more like metallic light purple and only on the frame.. nothing like the photos so I was disappointed by this but the quality of this telephone is been good enough to don't send it back.
