My 4-5 year old S4 developed an issue where it only worked on Bluetooth. The speaker & mic work fine in other apps but not on calls even after a factory reset. (So it's now a wifi device for around the house) As its a fab phone where I originally paid over £500 I figured £110 for another was a bargain, albeit a few years on. What's great about the phone is its one of the last few where the battery comes out so doesn't kill the phone if battery gives up the ghost like the S6 & S7. The down side to removable batteries is thieves pull them out, making them untrackable. But reporting the IMEI number blocks it on all UK networks making it unusable as a phone. There are cheaper unknown brands one the market, but ask yourself if it's really worth the headache of saving a few £'s & it packing up in 2 to 4 months down the line & then coming back to buy a phone that will last? Always read the reviews of products. It's why I'm buying another of the same. And yes I dropped my last phone (Still working) quite a few times. I think it needs either flashing or upping from 5.01 to Andriod 6 to clear its issue.Read full review

Despite only being on android 5.0 I haven't found a single app yet that won't work. Snapchat works wonderfully (I was a little worried it wouldn't since the phone is a few years old) we've had rain these past couple days and I haven't needed to worry about covering it as it works just fine in these conditions. I'm using this phone now to write this review. It says it only holds up to a 32GB MicroSD but I'm using a 128GB and it works just as well giving me over 100GB of storage! All other social media apps work without fault as well as this is what I mainly use my phone for. The camera is good too. This is my first "waterproof" phone. I also like that it uses IPS screen technology rather than the OLED technology in the original S4. I had the original S4 and manage to put a tiny crack in the LCD/OLED itself and the whole phone died. If this happened to an LCD the phone would still be usable. This is why I look into a phones specifications beforehand. Overall in much better condition than expected and a "smarter" phone than expected. I've discovered many different features in the camera settings and the quality is clear. Overall satisfied with my purchase. Samsung are the main competition to apple for a reason, and I've found out why by owning this phone. Always previously been an apple user but I wanted a phone that was waterproof for sailing round the world. After dropping this in the bath I was able to wipe it with a towel and finish my text message! Amazing.
