Well, my first reason for buying this item was to get better reception from the router to get the internet than my Asus pad. With this tablet my reception for the internet is , well, exceptional, I have no problems whatsoever in connecting to my router. The other bonus is that I have always liked Galaxy devices and have a Galaxy mobile phone, which I am very pleased with. To have a tablet as well is the complete package for me, like my mobile the Galaxy tablet connects to other devices by bluetooth loads better than my old Asus tablet, which always kicked me off after sometime ! I do recommend getting the 32gb device just for storage capability. Excellent screen quality, size and weight. Very reliable and stable device :),love it
I bought this primarily for the kids to use, so can't provide a great deal of first-person opinion...... the kids seem happy enough though. I find websites don't load as quickly on the tablet as they do on my Android smartphone, but there's not a huge difference in it. The kids use it to play CBeebies games, watch clips of their favourite shows, and trawl YouTube for anything remotely Frozen related... unfortunately the speakers are good enough that I can't blot out their endless playing of "Let It Go" and "Do you wanna build a snowman", so won't be surprised if the volume control mysteriously breaks! The only downside is that I'm going to have to buy another so they can have one each and avoid arguments on which Frozen song they wish to murder next (although the noise of 2 competing little girls singing different Frozen songs may cause a parental nervous breakdown!)Read full review
Basically an ipad for only 60% of the money AND without ipads disastrous omission of flash. This also can have its storage upgraded using an SDHC memory card, about £20 for an extra 32gig of storage, lets see you do that on an ipad (actually you cant do that on an ipad at all) We have an ipad in the house as well, but its sooo frustrating sometimes without the ability to see flash websites, weve decided to go android.. No looking back either....
