SMART technology is such a lottery as it doesn't guarantee the kind of Apps you get. I bought this for Skype. I then found I had to buy a specific Skype camera for around £70. Two TV's broke and my last seems to be working. Apps seem quite limited and generally just trying to get you to part with money to download TV and Films. I stopped buying Sony due to reliability issues and seem to have similar issues with Samsung.
I took the remote out of the package and put the batteries in I didn't have to program anything pushed the buttons and away we go simple and quick superb

This is my second Samsung 40" TV in less than 6 months. The first has been great with network connectivity but this one goes that bit further with the addition of the Apps which allow you to surf the net, use iplayer and stream movies and music over your network. Very happy with this purchase at this price (£400). Picture is clear and crisp with the HD being just superb. Cant comment on the sound as I use a Sonos amp for that.
Great Tv, Picture quality is crisp but it could do better. As for sound not up to scrap at all as it just has too much treble and especially when watching movies its very noticeable. Some of the default apps are pretty much not of much use and cant be uninstalled which takes away lots of internal memory. Overall the TV performs well and price wise its kinda hefty on your wallet but I'd says its worth the money as compared to other TV's in its class this one packs quite a punch.
