Don't expect these nearly invisible flash drives to blow you out of the water with their speed. They won't. I'm getting sequential read/write speeds of 37MB/s and ~4MB/s which is plenty fast for everyday duty but not for transferring large files. But they are highly reliable as boot devices and for file storage. I have used mine without fail as bootable Windows recovery/utility drives. I love the fact that the stick nearly disappears in the USB port. A red LED indicates it's transferring data. You would be hard-pressed to find a better value for reliable performance like this in a cool tiny form factor.

I have found SanDisk memory cards and sticks to be reliable and compatible with any device I have . I always stick to name brands to reduce issues, and have found that SanDisk for me is the most dependable of them all. SD offers the most variety of of memory configurations that will fit all my devices and professional cameras. These sticks are very compact , USB 2.0 and only 8GB but they do their job very well. I bought them for the size and they are perfect.

SanDisk is an excellent brand name; their flash drives are very reliable. In addition, this flash drive sticks out from the computer very little, so I can afford to put some portable apps on it and then leave it in place; my sleeve won't catch on it and either rip it apart or cause it to damage the USB port. And you can put a *lot* of data and apps on an 8 Gig drive. Plus which, it has a small link to which I can tie a colored thread, to make it obvious exactly which SanDisk flash drive it is. I did a lot of research, and chose this product carefully. I'm very pleased with the result.

I bought this to put ripped CD music files onto, for playing in my 2015 car via the USB port. It is tiny, inserted it only sticks out less than 1/4 inch, to be exact, 3/16 inch, so it is not even noticeable unless you are looking closely for it. It has a tiny light that glows when you insert it, to show that it has made proper electrical contact. At 8GB storage for less than $8, I will be able to store anywhere from 100 to 300 CDs of music, depending on what ripping quality I use. I doubt that I will fill it up, but if I did I could buy a larger one, up to 32GB or even 64GB. The ONLY disadvantage, the part that protrudes is so small that it can be difficult removing it from a USB port. Which isn't really an issue because I plan to keep it plugged into my car's USB port. It has a slight ridge so a plastic car fuse-puller would probably work on it. Overall a mighty impressive small storage device for little more than spare change!Read full review
Flash drive is great addition to your music media. Best feature - size, if you plug it in the front USB port on your car stereo it almost invisible. with highest bitrate I can fill it with over 60 hours of music or audio books. I bought it couple months ago, liked it and then got another one for my friend car. Lately every car have a USB port. Make sure it formatted as FAT32, and folders are not too messy, so you can find what you looking for thru car stereo interface. The speed of it is not too fast, but plays with no problem. Once you fill it up with music - it works. Reading speed is perfect for car stereo playback and search.
