Scandal
Very evocative. Marvellous cast, marvellous story; sad. Wonderful costumes. Well worth a watch. John Hurt's performance marvellous. Leslie Philips, Ian McKellen. Joanne Whalley, a very young Keith Allen. Great sets. A wonderful and rather exciting, optimistic time: "....you never had it so good" etc. etc.

The former Rt Hon John Profumo MP, PC
Absolutely true to the event of the 1960's what was called The Profumo Affair. The content on screen was accurate, clothes were excellent, same for the location. Sadly two actors were not up to the mark. Overall a very recording of the sancadal which ended the career John Profumo MP, stripped of being a member of the Privy Council. Thereafter, he worked for charity in the East end of London until his death. Good for any film buff collection.Absolutely true to the event of the 1960's what was called The Profumo Affair.
