I don't find it very practical as there aren't any sides to the back or base, so it doesn't stay put & slips all over the seat/rucks up. This then allows dirty overalls to directly contact the seat. Mechanics point of view only, someone who uses it in 1 car may be O.K with it. Velcro fastening behind headrest is impractical, have to access rear of vehicle in most cars to fasten. Manufactured from fairly thick & rigid material, so expect it to be durable & hard wearing. Overall opinion is it does the job, just fiddly to fit & keep in place. If your going to be frequently changing it from car to car, I'd consider the type that slips over seat back & covers the sides/front of the base.
