For the money, this is a brilliant piece of good quality kit for the semi-professional person. Chief attribute is the welder's versatility, from the low power settings suitable for sub 1mm thickness through to a storming powerful arc for perfect welds on thick 10mm steel plate. Easy to set up and use, all you need is a 16A plug and socket. In most cases the socket can be powered from a spare terminal in you electricity consumer unit, though get an electrician to wire it in for you. The arc is stable and precise and the wire feed can accommodate a 15kg drum. Duty cycle is tremendously good, 100% at the setting for car body panels. If you have used only hobby migs up until now, this really does feel like the next level.

Awesome little welder! The pro’s: It produces a good quality weld for light to medium work. It’s fairly lightweight to lift about if you need to transport it about. Decent ‘Binzel’ MB14 eurotorch. It takes both the 5kg and 15kg rolls of mig wire which is also very handy. The con’s: Well none really, but if I wanted to be ultra picky, it’s a bit of a pain that it has only a short regulator tube so it doesn’t reach up to the neck of a full size bottle of argoshield gas. Other than that it’s perfect👌

Solid, seems well made and robust. I have not been welding for long but this seem a large step above a hobby welder . Good clear controls. Torch is well built and wire feed seems good. I hope it will last as long as it looks like it might. This is a heavy peice of kit with a gas bottle and 5kg of wire but rolls quite well on its wheels.

Binned my previous mig welder due to welds not taking, this welder restored my faith in good tools. Does exactly what you need no messing around. Would highly recommend.

380 quid for 180 amp mig is cheap but it welds great, OK not like a 3 phase but compared to my snap on 130 amp it is replacing, fantastic, 10 minutes to assemble and the supplied regulator fits my pub type co2 bottle, not done anything like a full day's welding with it but it's really a DIY piece of kit not industrial,
