The phone itself fits snugly into the hand and isn't as heavy as other phones of a similar size. The buttons are silvery in colour, then you touch them and they glow in an eerie yellowy-orange colour, but you can switch this "backlight" off to save battery power. When you stop using the phone for a moment, the backlit glow slowly fades away, which I think is a cool looking feature!
THE MOBILE PHONE WAS BEING SOLD WITH BATTERY CHARGER AND £20 WORTH OF CALLS ON THE SIM CARD.I WON THE ITEM FOR £16-51 INC P&P WHEN I GOT THE PHONE IT WAS IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER AND AS A BONUS THE SIM CARD HAD £23 WORTH OF CALLS I CALL THAT A REAL BARGAIN.OK THE MOBILE PHONE IS A OLD TYPE, BUT SO AM I
I have had a Siemens A50 phone since 2003 and the covers and keys were getting tatty but the phone is perfectly ok. It is a simple practical phone without all the bells and whistles I would never use that are usually on phones now. Bought a faulty phone on e bay to refurbish it. The faulty phone was ideal.
This is an old model but brilliant if like me your fingers don't work well on small buttons & you don't want one of those big phones with enormous buttons. The buttons are well separated & it's the only mobile phone that I've found easy to use.
This is the fourth Siemens A50 mobile phone I have bought in the history of mobiles. I have never wanted to change models as this is simplicity itself. If you only want to make and receive calls and texts then its perfect. The buttons are prominent for people with dexterity problems and the screen is large enough to see. Ideal phone for the beginner or elderly or the technophobe like myself that doesnt like change. I would reccomend this phone if you dont need all the technical stuff.
