Well I did not want to spend £80+ on a drill and I wanted lithium iron as all my old drills with nicd batts failed due to the battery loosing capacity. The battery should stay charged and not need recharging if its not been used for a couple of weeks. Good drill ..strong just what you would expect BUT RS could not supply a spare battery or a high capacity battery and the charger is very slow ..3-5 hrs. REASON...it has to charge slowly because it charges all cells in series..this is not the best idea as each cell should be charged to 4.3v individually. If one cell gets weak it will damage the others. Charging more than 2 cells in series is not recommended ..this has 5 Some versions have a fast charger charging each cell individually.

I've been using this drill for a while now, and it just does it. I was a bit worried about not going for one of the big names (big price tag!) But needn't have, good battery life as well.

It's everything you would expect of a drill for this price. You are not getting the power and quality of a £100plus dewalt or makita but you wouldn't expect to. Good value for the hobbyist.
