We have been using a pair of these together with uPVC wheel chocks for working on a Land Rover 110 as our work area is sloping concrete. Sp far so good. They became essential/recommended kit following a recent (nasty) blow out of a rear tyre on the M4. These wedges were literally a life saver with the Land Rover facing downhill on the hard shoulder with trucks passing by at 50mph plus. They completely negated any forward movement and allowed the jacking up & safe changing of the wheel in a very civilised manner. For those who do not know, chocks are so important when jacking a 4x4 that Land rover actually provide a pair with each new vehicle. When other vehicles pass by at speed ANY vehicle being jacked will tend to move and twist off of a jack due to the force of the air being pushed by each passing vehicle. Buy a set today & potentially save your self from having a vehicle fall off of the jack. They are so compact as they will fit in any car boot, glove box or door pocket – even in a ‘Smart car’ or similar. Cheap enough to be afforded by anyone who owns a car. Read full review

Product ok for small cars with narrow tyres. Would suggest that they are not suitable for larger vehicles eg 4x4's. Got for my 4x4 but would not use them - Base plate could be better engineered for grip, only 2 small points to grip into ground. I resorted to my old wooden chocks !

These wheel chocks fold for easy storage in the car. They give confidence when changing a wheel when you have a puncture as you know when in place that the car will not roll forward . Great for caravans too to give extra stability when parked ensuring that your caravan will not roll on a slope.

I use the vehicles jack, which slots in the sill, most cars use this type of Jack, I found using it doesn't stop the car rolling off especially on gradients, these convenient chocks are essential for preventing the above. Easily stored and assure your safety Strongly recommend you invest in a pair Vic, Lowestoft

Really handy pair of folding wheel chocks. Used them under the front wheels to hold my car on a sloping driveway whilst I did some work on its handbrake adjusters. Both rear wheels were off the ground at the same time and my car is rear-wheel drive, these chocks were the only thing stopping the car from rolling down the slope. Excellent items - just be realistic in terms of the size of vehicle they can handle. These are absolutely fine for a normal sized car, but I wouldn't expect them to deal with something like a Rover Rover, or other large 4x4. Great buy. Very pleased.
