If you want a simple smart phone this is not the one. It's basically just the same as a normal smartphone with a few minor tweaks. I needed a simple phone so my mum can make and recieve calls. The speed dial options are worse than a normal phone as pressing the icon on the home screen doesn't direct dial, it gives a futhur opition to text or call and these buttons are right next to each other so mistakes are inevitable. And upon receiving a call, sometimes it requires a button being pressed, sometimes a slide up, it's quite ridiculous to be so complicated. It had 3 hard keys, none for making, receiving or ending a call. This is just a normal smartphone.

I bought this phone for my Mum who is 50 and unashamedly not a smart phone fan. Her previous phone was a hand-me-down Samsung B2100 (Solid Extreme) which she used solely for texts and calls. She finally took the plunge after reading reviews on Liberto which said an 80 year old could use it - they weren't wrong. It's got a nice solid feel in the palm without being stupidly large or heavy. It feels quality. The tactile home/menu buttons at the bottom are reassuring that if you feel lost whilst navigating you can get back to familiar territory. The set up was a doddle, the interfaces are clear with a range of settings that make the display larger/louder and my Mum is now happily using wi-fi when out and about to explore new possibilities through her phone. It has the capacity to download apps but we've not yet crossed that bridge. The camera is fine, not the best out there but sufficient for most users that essentially want a phone with bonus features. All in all a great little phone at an affordable price, my husband is so taken with in(32) he wants one of his own!Read full review

This smart-phone fits nicely in my back pocket, even in a case. It feels nice to hold and the buttons need a proper press, to operate. The three button's on the front, are a great addition. When using the menu's, it all just makes sense and works. I wanted a smart-phone that was easy to use and I got one. The battery life is not that great but I will learn to live with it. The camera is not the best either but I didn’t buy it for that! I do not quite fit in the age bracket, that this phone was aimed at but I like it and it will do for me.

I spent nearly a week to get it up and running - ie installing my email details etc - it may be easy to use - but programming it with your stuff is a nightmare - I suppose this applies to all smartphones? Anyway - I'm not sure after all this why I bought it - peer pressure? - I've hardly used it in near two months and its already cost me more per month than the £10 T-Mobile p-a-y-g I've had for the last 10 years (I hardly ever use that either - except to phone the Rowing Club Security Gate to open and close it). I don't think I need a smartphone after all - its just something to be a nuisance in my pocket. I might sell it on eBay yet.
