I bought this paint to pep up an old steering wheel for an old tractor, I didn't hold out much hope based on the cost but I've got to admit I was truly impressed. It isn't as good as chrome and anyone who expects this should be wary, but it is a very bright chrome like finish and as long as preparation is good (the surface must be smooth as any dents or blemishes will show through) the results will be pleasing. I used an acid etch primer in grey let it dry for 24 hrs and built up light coats of the chrome paint with 10 mins between coats. It is paint and will scratch and the tin advises that it should not be over painted with clear coat and is not suitable for alloy wheels. I've now got a steering wheel that looks as good as a new one at a tenth of the price!

I tried it on several test pieces per the instructions but it only comes up as a very shiny silver, and it looks obviously painted. Not a chrome-look mirror finish, so I did not use it on the auto parts as I had intended.
