I make my Christmas cards and last year after 75 die cuts my shoulders ached after using my beloved manual Big Shot. I have been looking for an electric one and after much research I decided the Big Shot express was the one for me. It is slightly less wide than the regular Big Shot, as there is a switch that can go back or forward instead of a rotary handle on the side of the machine, but the length is the same and the cutting area is the same as the Big Shot. I tried it out and was surprised how easy it was to use. Very thin intricate dies may take a few attempts to get the desired result, but after using some shims and passing over the die several times I had a satisfactory result. A great machine, and I would recommend it.

Does what it says it does, quite quiet when cutting but what I really love about this machine is that you can reverse back and forth to get difficult cut where as other brands you have to put it back through

Bought as a Christmas present for my 86yr old mum who is riddled with arthritis...she absolutely loves it and as it is electric it means no turning of handles which she would be unable to do, now she can craft and not suffer
