This is and ideal upgrade if you wish to improve on your current VW -Skoda radio etc. It is worthy of note though that other component parts i.e. compatible BT, control module will probably be required dependant on your current car configuration. So you may well find that you end up spending quite a few hundred pounds to do a full install if you want full OEM specification. I am pleased with the full functionality of the RNS510 it is much better than the standard RNS300 that was standard fit. The unit allows me full control and display either by way of the steering wheel - the unit itself or voice command. Satnav is excellent and particularly pleased with hard drive storage for music files- so no more taking cds in the car - everything can be uploaded including films if you wish.

Retro fitted this to my two year old, Octavia Scout. I was not paying the £1,850.00, they wanted, when I bought the car. I wish I had always had it, as I find myself, looking up POI's, or just letting it run, for traffic information. Having said that, it is not as good as my Garmin. Just a lot more convenient. What's missing! No speed you are travelling at. No audible warning for speed cameras. The lane guidance, is a laugh. A tiny box, with arrows. Once a year update, if you are lucky. My car has just been in for it's first service, and the service dept, told me, that they were still installing V7, as the most up to date, they have from Skoda. I have V9. They were impressed with V9. Still very pleased with it, and would be looking for an integrated system in my new car. No trailing wires. Does not fall down, at an inconvenient time. Certainly worth the money, you can now pick them up for new.Read full review
I bought this item because there should have been one in the car when we bought it. It is so easy to use and I would definitely buy again.
This item works well. The instructions could be better, but you can work it out. My one came with Sygic navigation, which I thought was not very user friendly. I purchased a separate version of Igo 2.4 to replace it, and that works better for me. I also connected a reversing camera, which works well.
