As a moto camper and coffee lover, this is a great piece of kit. It's easy to use and takes up as much space as a normal mug, no more bulky cafetiere or mocha pot!

It is impossible to make filter coffee in this with out ending up with a mouthful of grounds. It does not matter if you only half fill the cup with hot water and VERY slowly press the filter down; you will still end up with grounds in your coffee. It is a great pity as the insulated mug keeps coffee hot for a long time.

Keeps your coffee nice hot for a while. Filter is ok. Ground coffee makes its way pass the sieve though: a hole in the push stick and a very flimsy rubber seal. Rubber seal is far too weak. However, let the coffee settle and don't drink the last drop and you are ok.

This is a great mug in every way, except that the lid is not spill-proof which renders it somewhat unsuitable as a travel mug. Otherwise just great.

Apart from the escaped grounds problem it should be noted that these only last for about a year of once a day use after which the plunger falls apart or the rubber seal comes off. Hence I have about a dozen fairly useless plastic mugs waiting for someone to supply design a replacement plunger as Zyliss don’t seem keen to make them available. Not very green. Interestingly the first ones I had about 15 years ago lasted much longer but I think they were then made by a different company.
