At first you might be surprised at how thin this solder is. I find it very useful for modern day repairs as long as you have a shouldering iron to match (also found on eBay). Recommended for that headphone plug.

you get a good lot of solder for very little money, but you know the old adage you get what you pay for, this applies here. The solder does not compare to a good quality, more expensive brand. It has a dull sheen and does not flow very well. For one off jobs it may suffice, but for day in day out soldering it is frustrating. Perhaps I just had a bad roll

As commented elsewhere, not very big but then neither is the price. Better to pay more and get more. The postage would then rise too much.

Very reasonable quality with a nicely controlled flux content. We are fortunate that the EU and RoHS are not as vicious about Pb content as the US so we can still solder with ease. The only negative I have about the product as old is that the length provided is not specifed.

Everything is lead free now but the lead free solder is not user friendly. This solder is traditional solder (contains lead) it flows better and makes repairs easier to do. As its really fine its good for fine work too.
