Shame you need to buy a separate housing for tripod use. Otherwise best of its time

after a few videos the camera gives me problems , it doesnt start.i have to take out the battery severel times and after that it starts. too bad for a such expensive camera
Brilliant device can use NP-BG1 batteries from my other Sony cameras no problems connecting to my Apple Samsung or HTC devices the quality is quite good image stabilization is very useful especially on the bike it would have been nice to have a flat bottom and tripod bush on the camera instead of the waterproof case apart from that it is an excellent product and a nice sharp Carl Zeiss Tessar
Fantastic image quality compared to it's competitors, especially the more expensive ones. Amazing battery life if you disable the GPS and WiFi functionality. The GPS data isn't very accurate as far as route mapping and speed goes, but it's useful for general reference. Supplied housing is much lighter than the previous model, at only 7g heavier than the GoPro (with it's housing). Good all round performance in varying light conditions, but can be a little noisy in very dark areas. Saying that, it shows a lot more detail than most action cams, and will operate in darker conditions than most too. Mounting options are limited unless you purchase accessories, but not a major issue for most circumstances. All in all a fantastic little camera, with exceptional value for money.
