Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best-selling in PDAs
I've owned a number of PDAs (and even currently carry the dreaded Blackberry). I really like the Sony Clie line of products - with the touch screen and Palm OS being so much more user friendly and adaptable than the Blackberry and its "thumb wheel of death!". The Sony Clie's are generally well constructed and have great screen clarity. The T665 may not be the latest and greatest, but for the money its a great value. The sound quality from the built in MP3 player is awesome. The processor is fairly fast, and the memory stick feature allows you to store music, pdf's (read 'em with Adobe's free palm pdf viewer), and other files. The size and weight are reasonable - it fits easily in my shirt pocket, and battery life is good - especially if you hold down the power button for a few seconds and turn off the back lighting. Also really like the "extra" buttons the Sony includes like the rotary wheel on the side, the back button and the front up down toggle button. Then of course there's my new favorite button, the Hold button...flip it to hold and it prevents you from accidently powering the PDA on in your pocket and draining the battery when you really need it most! A great little extra to have is the USB charging / data transfer cable available on Ebay, and the little 110/220V wall plug in USB charger gizmo. You can get both for under $20 and that way you don't have to drag your base charger with you - leave it home plugged into your PC, and you can still charge your device ont the road (without having to power up your laptop).Read full review
This PDA is very functional. I purchased mine so that I could have important information always handy. I got tired of carrying an organizer it was to big and bulky. I have an address book with names, address, phone, e-mail for friends, family and most important customers. I can make memos, to do lists and appointments. I have a calculator handy at all times. The best part I can listen to the MP3 player or an e-book. Has a card slot so you can have music or book always handy. I also have a program to keep track of mileage. I can download games to play at home or while I am waiting for an appointment. This is small and compact and fits in my purse and doesn't take up a lot of space. Keeps me organized without extra bulk and weight.
It is great at keeping my addresses and my calendar and all my memos on bill payments. I had the same model before and would not keep a charge so I went to E-bay to find a new one. And I did.
I get these on eBay as Sony no longer sell them in the USA. I have 1 for a spare. This PDA has it all. It will show photos, play Music along with being a Remote Control for when your on the road.
