I was looking for a smartphone with dual sim capacity so that I can receive phone calls/ texts via U.K. and Japanese sims in Japan. Unfortunately, one of two sim slots is only capable for 3G reception & as anything less than 3G is non existent in Japan, I ended up carrying two phones again.Shame really, however, If you are inserting two European sims & not using two sims in Japan, this is perfect phone to go for. Phone itself is very good with reasonable price of £100. Looks good(does not look tacky), screen is small side but adequate for occasional web browsing, checking Emails, playing Sugar Crush and so on. The screen is quite dark under the sun, camera is not brilliant but not terrible.Battery holds quite well for smartphone. GPS works very well and touch screen/ keyboard responds well. Wi Fi reception is excellent. Not many dual sim phone on a market but If your priority is to be able to use two sims for phone calls/ texts in one phone, Sony Xperia E dual is safe choice at the moment. Ideal for travellers.Read full review
My old Nokia phones were about 10 years old I have had 2 the same with 2 different providers for all those years very happily. Well one fell out my pocket from my boat into sea water the sim card survived the phone sadly drowned. The best solution was to get a duel sim fancy modern phone. There are not many to chose from this Sony looked the best for me. I am very pleased with it though find the touch screen a bit tricky I have lost my first flush of youth old fashioned buttons are easier. Though it is great to just have one phone I don't do the internet with it though it can Very pleased with it hope it lasts as long as my old phones
I like the mobile with being duel sim but sometimes when it rings it will not slide to answer the call like it is frozen and when I try to call I have to keep pressing the phone icon to get it to call so enoying
