    Good Show

    This was actually a good show once it got started. The main issues I had with it was that they kept changing the day or time that it aired and thus made it more difficult to keep up with. I think if it would have been given a good shot at a decent day a time it would have picked up more viewers and continued. Happy to finally have it on DVD

    Space Above and Beyond. The Sci-fi series you may not have seen.

    Humans trigger a war with an alien race. This is the story of one squad of recruits and their journey. When this was made these were movie level special effects and the episodes were all big budget. There is only one season, as the studio cancelled the show because it was too expensive, but the story arc is good and well enough wrapped up at the end. The characters are very engaging and the actors did a great job. "Shuffle up those wild cards and deal them..."

    Good 90s Science Fiction series

    Space Above And Beyond was screened briefly in the UK in the late 90s. It follows a group of space marines, the Wildcards from basic training through to the conclusion of a war against an unknown alien enemy that appear to have launched an unprovoked attack against Earth colonies in space. I won't spoil the surprise, but all is not as it first appears...

    Good mini series sci-fi.

    Remember watching this on tv. An okay Sci -fi series now but at the time it competed well with what else was out. The characters were just developing when the series was stopped. The box set is worth the money.
