This is a budget Fx pedal case, not a full on touring flight case which is fairly reflected in the price. That said it's well made, good corner protection, aluminium edging trim, & solid handle. Supplied with good quality 3M velcro tape to secure your pedals with, & a basic lock with 2 keys. Again the lock wouldn't stop anyone getting into the case if they really wanted to, it's just to stop an opportunist simply opening it. The hinges on the back would bend & give way very easy too but it's not designed to offer protection when out of your sight. For general protection of your pedals etc in a studio or during transport, (my reason for purchase), this is more than adequate. The top & bottom panels will probably take a few Kg's of weight should you place or drop something not too heavy. It wouldn't withstand a large P.A. speaker or someone standing on it. Used for what it was designed for it's a good piece of gear, which I reckon will last at least a year or 2 . I'd definitely recommend it.Read full review

We expect a lot for our money these days - if someone was to sit down and make one of these for you, it'd cost a lot more than what we pay to Stagg. As it has a removable lid, you are constantly matching up the hinges at the back. On my first use, a bit of lead obstructed it closing properly and the hinge bent - very easily. Those hinges should be made of tougher stuff considering their job. Otherwise I'd say the latches feel they could come undone with a knock.

Nice pedal board case with removable lid. Overall good with included velcro strip. The locks are maybe not that all sturdy and they wouldn't stop a determined thief. The 'feet' on the lower lid are made of a hard plastic, so depending on the floor surface the lid can slide a little as you stomp on the pedals. I added my own MDF style wooden base into the lid and onto that stuck a high density foam covering with 'cutouts' for each pedal, just to give the whole thing rigidity. That's just a custom thing I did.

Great product for the price. A little 'customer surprise and delight' moment in that they actually include some velcro hook tape which is used with the internal lining. Never knew that when I bought it. Keep this up Stagg! COOOOL! : )
