This is the first manual screwdriver out of my toolbox for most jobs. Excellent tips which don't deform and not likely to be lost. Should last a long time. Chunky handle gives good grip, great for weaker hands. Haven't used the nutdriver feature much. Every home should have one of these (or more: main toolbox, kitchen drawer for quick jobs like battery changes in kids toys and similar, and in the car). Design of handle changed slightly over time; I slightly prefer the straighter original one Good second hand buy too.

I purchased this for an elderly neighbour, to assist her. I had previously carried out a few small electrical jobs for her like changing plugs etc. Nothing that required an electrical screwdriver. When I asked if she had any screwdrivers in the house she produced a couple of old screwdrivers not really fit for doing the jobs that she required. So I looked at various screwdrivers lots of them now come in bits/socket Sets. I just wanted a General screwdriver that she could keep in the kitchen, without having to go searching for one. This Stanley six piece does the job perfectly, by just having to change the heads, each bit comes in two sizes for flat/philips. Ideal for what she needs. The shank is held in place by a small ball bearing, Excellent for the price

I bought this to save looking for the right sized posi drive or flat head, easy to use when changing the bits round and seems good quality for light occasional use, especially the drive bits. Recommended if you want a handy screwdriver set.

This little gem is in my opinion the best screwdriver ever conceived by an engineer as it is ever so handy and versatile. No cap to open to change the bits, any bit is ready to use within 3 seconds! High quality durable & hardened steel bits that last very long. You won't be able to bend the screwdriver blades, but you will be able to break them by applying brute force. Suitable for 99% of the work usually assigned to a screwdriver in any household, garden or workshop environment. One small suggestion: The grip should have more the shape of a triangle, as in its present shape the screwdriver tends to roll off a surface. This in no way deminishes the value of this superb tool, though! Just in case Stanley intends to discontinue it, it never should be!

I had one of these for years and was very upset when the washing machine man borrowed it to install our machine. He forget to leave it behind when he left, well I hope he forgot..... anyway had to get another one quick, found this Stanley screwdriver on line and it's much better than my old one. I love it so much I bought three more for the kids...they think I’ve got a screw loose......Get one soon......
