Found some episodes bland/boring, eg the holographic Irish bar ones. Don't know what the previous owner did to a couple of discs as they won't play properly, I've cleaned them to get rid of smudges but still not getting a decent performance. However, seeing Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock) with hair, and the youngest I've ever seen him is a treat!

Hello there, Well here's another review. As you know by now I am Star Trek mad I have been purchasing these slimline Star Trek Voyager DVD Box Set's & I have got Season Six not a bad season for Voyager, Borg Episodes are good & there's a Con Artist episode where some bad people take off some personal of the Starship Voyager & it's up to Captain Janeway & Crew to stop them. I give this season 8 out of 10 for it's features & episodes Kindest Regards Captaincubbio22
New in September 2007, this boxset is the same as its red bulky predecessor albeit in new packaging. Now in its six years Voyager has won critical acclaim as being the best star trek ever made. Everyone loves Voyager! There a few gems in this season though you can tell the series is coming to a close as sometimes it seems that some episodes we have seen before; albeit with a slight variation. As ever the effects are stunning and improved. I especially like the wide shots of the ship and as they zoom in through the widow of a deck, the fantasy becomes a live. Season highlights include: Pathfinder; Enterprises Lt. Barclay meets up with old friend Cllr Troy as he is on the brink of making contact with Voyager from Starfleet command. Blink of an eye; Voyager gets stuck in the pull of a planet and become engrained into their history. Collective; Voyager encounters Borg children. Fury; Kes returns to Voyager. Special features include: Braving the unknown: Season 6; One small step: A mars encounter; Voyager time capsules: crew interviews; Red Alert! Amazing visual effects explained; Starmapping the final frontier.Read full review
Series 6 continued the quality of the previous series. The 26 episodes are spread across 7 disks, the 7th also containing some very intriguing bonus features. Series 6 opens with the conclusion to the Equinox story line which was started in the final episode of series 5 and runs through to the first episode of Unimatrix zero, which is finished in series 7. Episodes include the Voyager regulars and Jennifer Lien reprising her role as Kes. With notable appearances such as Marina Sirtis as Deanna Troi and Dwight Schultz as Reg Barclay, both originally from TNG (the next generation.) Plots lines remain strong with Irish Coastal Holodeck Towns, A Janeway-esque con artist and the borg all making an appearance. As with the previous two series Seven of Nine is centred in many episodes, but there are a good number of episodes displaying the Doctor, B'elana, Janeway and even Alpha Quadrent Characters as the protagonists.Read full review
