This is seriously good stripper for old old paint, unfortunately nitromors is no more the king. This is great stuff on most paints, now and again it may not work on a ‘certain type’ which is understandable. I put the stripper on and then cover with cling film to stop it drying out. After 15 to 30 minutes it’s done it’s job. Then give a second coat for the odd spot you missed on the first coat ,or that air bubbles didn’t cause full contact. It’s definitely the best stuff out there for really old paint. Job done !

certainly very pungent so one has to use in a well ventilated space and breathing mask but is not a gel like has been claimed but very runny so can't use on vertical surfaces. have used similar product previously which was very thick and effective but this stuff runs off and dries off very quickly and seems to have been thinned somewhat. takes many applications before it will remove multiple layers of paint.

I bought this to strip the paint from a set of alloy wheels. I did not find the product to be easy to use due to its thick consistency and I also did not find it very effective at removing the paint from the wheels. It took 5 coatings (with wire brushing and pressure washing in-between) to move around 75% of the paint and in the end I resorted to sand blasting to remove the rest of the paint. I also used the same product to strip the paint from a car bonnet - it worked OK but again around 5 coats were required and it still took a lot of sanding after that to remove the last of the paint. I don't think I would buy this product again, but unfortunately do not know of anything stronger on the market.

this product is very good , have been using for a few years without any problems , as its industrial remover it works well , have used other paint strippers with less effect , found it good for engine paint as well , just make sure its used in a workshop environment if possible ,or in a well ventilated room

I bought this to strip the paint and lacquer off of a set of well-worn car alloys. It is thick and gelatinous and stuck to the wheel paint . I left it to soak in for approx half an hour and it did a brilliant job - a couple of reapplications removed the rest of the paint and I was left with clean aluminium. After a thorough wash-off, I was left with a surface that the new paint happily bonded to. I can't fault the price or the product
