I bought this because I needed another dose of stephen Kings fine strory telling. Fans of stephen king will love this book, I just finished it today. King's books tend to explore many different story telling techniques which I think keeps his work fresh. This one is written in a format that took a little getting used to during the first few chapters or so, but soon one is too absorbed in the story to even think of putting it down. It looks like an old fifties Buick 8... but it's not... I immediately thought of the car in his story "Hearts from Atlantis" although there's no reference to that story. Soon into the book I had loads of questions buzzing in my head compelling me onwards. The story hooks one's imagination from the start. I will not spill the story to you, as I like to explore a book without any expectations or spoilers. As with all King's books, the characterisations are superb and it's so easy to absorb oneself into the scenes he describes. He effortlessly paints his all his characters and one feels like one has met them or someone like them. It's typically peppered with really funny one liners that made me laugh out loud and it is a bit gory in parts... but a fine story none the less. Anyone who misses out on this book, well all I can say to them is add it their "TS1". Now you'll have to get it to find out what that is!Read full review

I'm a Stephen King Constant Reader and he never fails to deliver a well crafted plot. As usual he describes warm hearted lovable characters who support each other in dealing with the bad stuff and the stupid stuff.
