I bought this book for my son, having read Allen Carr myself many years ago to stop smoking. For anyone thinking of stopping I recommend trying the cold turkey method FIRST. This book is great for supporting the cold turkey method. If for whatever reason it doesn't work for you, then move on to the drug aided methods (nicotine replacement, for example). Whether my son will read it or not, is another story! It did help me a lot though.
