I followed the instructions for locating the lens and I have half of my neighbour's car in view (which hasn't stopped me nudging it a couple of times!) Probably, it depends on your make of car and shape and slant of the rear windscreen as to whether you get a real success. My top tip is perhaps to blue-tack in place to start with and only use the sticky pad when you are happy you have the best view!

We purchased a second hand Honda HRV, basic model no reversing camera or sensors. I thought this product would be ideal. The instructions only specificed the distance from the side of the rear window to fix the product, no mention of distance from top of window. Ended up buying 3m double sided tape as I had to remove it three times before I got it right and; the view from the product is not great.

I had to replace one I had bought several years ago: not because it was faulty or particularly fragile but because it "got broken" by someone putting rubbish in my car for a trip to the tip ... It is invaluable to me as I have problems turning enough to look out the back windscreen properly and, wearing glasses, I have to turn a long way normally. I still obviously check properly as far as I can, but the lens is most helpful. No way would I rely on my mirrors! I would not rely on cameras or sensors, either. Rather get out of the car and prove for myself. That's what you get with passing your driving test in 1967.

This lens is perfect for vehicles not fitted with parking sensors or for those who can't afford to retro fit them. It really works, although it takes a bit of getting used to as to how close you can really get to vehicles behind. My only criticism of this particular model is that it is difficult to use when reversing into sunlight. I have had others in the past where the contours weren't so tight and worked better. All on all I love it and would recommend it to drivers an learners alike.

The Easipark Lens is easy to fit and works perfectly on my Golf Plus and also my Suzuki 4x4. Much better than a rear camera as the result is seen in the reversing mirror. The only problem found was, that the adhesive failed in the hot sun. However a drop Superglue put that right
